Voika Atelier — Theme documentation

Voika Atelier 0.1.0 — development release. The theme is installed as an unpublished test theme. It has not been approved for the Shopify Theme Store and is not yet offered for sale.

Merchant guide

Install and preview

Upload the inner Voika-Atelier-0.1.0.zip in Shopify under Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload ZIP. Keep it unpublished while configuring. Open Customize, then Preview. Preserve the previous live theme as a rollback option.

The upload contains one theme style, Atelier. You do not need any paid app to browse products, choose a variant, add an item, edit the bag or proceed to Shopify checkout. Store payment, shipping, markets, tax and inventory rules remain Shopify configuration.

Global settings

Set the logo, favicon, vendor visibility, background, text, button, button-text and image-surface colors. Choose body and heading fonts using Shopify's font pickers. Adjust page width. Verify color contrast after changing colors; default text/button combinations were selected for readability, but arbitrary merchant choices can reduce accessibility.

Header and footer

Select the main menu in the Header section. The theme supports three navigation levels, a compact mobile menu, search, the bag, and Shopify's account component when customer accounts are enabled. Language and country selectors appear when more than one published language or country is available.

Use the Announcement section for a genuine service statement or promotion; its text and link are optional. Avoid invented urgency, stock counts, ratings or claims. Footer menus and Shopify policy links show your real store policies. Newsletter submissions use Shopify's native customer form. Follow on Shop uses Shopify's unmodified button where supported.

Homepage

• Editorial hero: choose an image, eyebrow, heading, text and destination. Use a well-composed licensed image; no demo-store images are bundled in the theme.
• Ritual collections: create collection blocks for shopping occasions or fragrance families. Add headings, descriptions, optional images and collection selections.
• Featured collection: choose a real collection and product count. Until a collection is selected, the storefront avoids showing a fake catalog.
• Brand story: tell your story in a split editorial layout.
• Featured product: select a real product and add/reorder its title, price, options, buy buttons and other blocks.
• Apps and Custom Liquid: add compatible app blocks or merchant-managed Liquid where required. Core shopping remains independent of an app.

Sections and blocks are managed in Shopify's editor. Homepage hero is an H1; avoid adding several hero sections to a single page if that creates several H1 headings. Choose actual images and collections before creating a demo store or performance-testing the theme.

Products

Create real product data in Shopify: title, description, images, videos/3D models, prices, options and variants. Product blocks control vendor, title, price, option links, purchase controls, pickup information, description, rich text, collapsible information and Custom Liquid.

Option values resolve on the server using Shopify option-value IDs, rather than embedding the entire variants array. With JavaScript, a targeted section request refreshes product content; without JavaScript, links load the selected combination normally. An unavailable combination disables purchase. The selected variant media is shown first, followed by remaining media. Other images open at larger size.

Pickup information only appears when Shopify supplies locations with pickup enabled. Configure local pickup in Shopify first. Shop Pay Installments, accelerated checkout, account authentication and related/complementary recommendations require the merchant's Shopify eligibility/configuration; inserting their native markup does not activate those services.

The selected variant's available selling-plan allocations are shown with their prices; any subscription's app and plan terms must be configured by the merchant. Selling-plan behavior and app compatibility need hosted validation before offering this release to merchants.

Optional product text/accordion blocks can hold merchant-authored fragrance notes, concentration, usage and delivery information. Use verified product information. Do not manufacture longevity, medical or authenticity claims.

Gift cards

Use a Shopify gift-card product. Buyers may opt into recipient delivery, enter email/name/message and optionally choose a date up to 90 days ahead. Recipient data uses Shopify's supported line-item property names and visible native form errors. When recipient delivery is inactive, JavaScript disables those fields so they are omitted from submission. Without JavaScript, Shopify validates the posted recipient flag and fields.

Gift-card recipient validation does not support accelerated checkout; the theme uses Add to cart for gift-card products. The issued gift-card page includes balance/code, validity information, Apple Wallet link when available, print and a 160px QR area generated by Shopify's hosted QR helper. Issuing and redeeming a gift card have not yet been tested in a connected store.

Collections and search

The theme renders Shopify's native collection/search filters, including price, and supports sorting and pagination. Configure filters in Shopify's Search & Discovery settings. Empty filters/data will not create artificial options. Search can show products, articles and pages. Product cards display vendor when enabled, availability, current/compare prices and starting-price indicators.

Bag and checkout

The bag shows line quantities, options, properties, selling plans, unit prices and actual line/order discounts. Customers can remove items, edit quantities, add a note, update the bag and proceed to native Shopify checkout. Shopify enforces inventory and quantity rules. Accelerated checkout options render when available. The theme does not add a payment gateway or change carrier/shipping calculations.

English and Arabic

The theme includes English and Arabic storefront interface translations. Publish Arabic through Shopify's language settings; translate merchant content such as menu labels, product titles/descriptions/options, collection text, section headings, policy text and article content using Shopify's translation workflow. Interface translation does not automatically translate your catalog. Checkout/account component translations are controlled by Shopify and require a real hosted check.

Arabic pages use RTL direction and logical CSS spacing. Arabic headings use a system Arabic-capable font. Native-speaker review is required before launch. Local fixture screenshots are layout evidence, not approval of every Arabic translation.

Contact, journal and policy pages

Assign page.contact to the page that should display a contact form. Ordinary pages use page. Blogs and articles use their respective templates, with comments and pagination where enabled. Configure policies in Shopify; the footer renders the real policy links.

العربية — البدء السريع

ارفع ملف القالب الداخلي إلى قسم القوالب في شوبيفاي واتركه غير منشور أثناء الإعداد. اختر الصور والمجموعات والقوائم من محرر القالب. فعّل اللغة العربية من إعدادات اللغات، ثم ترجم محتوى المتجر والمنتجات والقوائم والعناوين والسياسات. يتضمن القالب ترجمة عناصر الواجهة، لكنه لا يترجم الكتالوج تلقائياً.

اختبر اختيار المقاسات والإضافة للحقيبة وتعديل الكميات والدفع على هاتف حقيقي قبل النشر. إعدادات الشحن والضرائب والدفع والحسابات تدار في شوبيفاي. هذا الإصدار التطويري لم يحصل على موافقة متجر قوالب شوبيفاي بعد.
